The Jubilee Jammers are four of the Stonehouse Jubilee Club volunteers who have organised themselves into a musical quartet, mostly playing ukulele, but sometimes guitar and banjo amongst other instruments.
They sing a mixture of songs, from Scottish folk to wartime tunes and many well-known songs from the 1950's, 60's and 70's... music that enlivens our members who will sing enthusiastically along with them. The Jammers are a happy, fun-loving group who receive many invitations to perform at other Community Organisations, such as Church Guilds, Womens Rurals, Bowling Clubs, Nursing Homes and Sheltered Housing Complexes. They only ask for a donation to the Club funds.
Thanks to the Big Lottery, Scotland, the SJC now have our own music and sound equipment
